So much for waiting until the September 4 announcement. On Tuesday – two weeks ahead of schedule – the secret that Kelly Ripa’s new “Live!” co-host is going to be former NFL star Michael Strahan was leaked. Although reps for the morning talk show won’t confirm the news, multiple outlets are reporting that the lovable New York Giants defensive end beat out Josh Groban, Seth Meyers, Nick Lachey, and even Ripa’s own husband Mark Consuelos for the coveted job.

Strahan, 40, has appeared alongside Ripa, 41, multiple times since the departure of Regis Philbin last November. He finally got the chance to audition to be her permanent co-host in June – around the same time when, during an interview with “Magic Mike” star Channing Tatum, Strahan ripped off his pants and started dancing suggestively to “It’s Raining Men” to much applause from the female audience.

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" nice person Jacqueline Laurita's gripes with daughter Ashlee have been well-documented on the hit Bravo show. But 3-year-old son Nicholas, Jacqueline son with husband Chris, has rarely appeared on camera, for reasons we assumed had to do with his young age. Now Laurita is opening up about a secret the show's producers have kept entirely off-camera: Nicholas has autism.

"We had no idea what was going on," Jacquelin said" I worry about him being independent when he's older… I spend all my time researching what we can do for him."
Symptoms of the disorder started appearing around 18 months after Nicholas was born, according to Laurita, including increasingly impaired speech and motor skills. Nicholas was diagnosed during the taping of Season 4, which is currently airing. Autism spectrum disorders affect around 1.5 million people in the U.S., or approximately 1 in 88 children.





"You never want to think your child isn't perfectly healthy. We didn't want to believe it was true," husband Chris said.
The family is sticking together and getting through this time as a family. The whole Manzo family is being supportive to Jacqueline.

LL Cool J house gets broke into...not without a fight!!!

 

Its not a good idea to break into the home of someone who wrote the song "Mama Said Knock You Out."

Early Wednesday morning, LL Cool J busted a burglary suspect who had broken into his Los Angeles home. The actor-rapper, whose real name is James Todd Smith, discovered the man just before 1 a.m., when the alarm system in his Studio City residence was tripped. A scuffle ensued, but the "NCIS: Los Angeles" star — whose arms (and abs!) are legendary in Hollywood — took down the trespasser and detained him while one of his daughters called 911.

When officers arrived, they took the man — whose name has not been released — into custody. The suspect, who will be arrested on suspicion of burglary, had minor bruises.

It's really no surprise tough guy LL Cool J — who has shared his fitness secrets in books including "LL Cool J's Platinum Workout" and has one of the most chiseled bodies in the biz — was uninjured during the fracas. Further, nothing was taken from the home, which he shares with his wife, Simone, and four children: a son Najee, 22, and daughters Italia, 21, Samaria, 17, and Nina, 11.

When reached for comment about the incident, a rep for LL Cool J replied, "LL Cool J and his family are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern.

Pictures were reportedly snapped inside the Prince's private VIP suite in a Las Vegas hotel following a game of strip-pool, which he appears to have lost!!! The rule of what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas isn't always true!!! Prince Harry has always been the fun one out of the bunch. Sources say he was just playing a game and having fun with friends like any normal guy in his twenties will. Like his mother, the late Princess Diana, Prince Harry doesn't live his life worrying about what people are going to say and think. He is just trying to be the best person he can be and have fun doing It!. There has been no word yet from the royal family,of the fun filled Vegas weekend.

Harry toured the Caribbean as part of a Diamond Jubilee tour in honor of Queen Elizabeth II as she celebrates 60 years on the throne. The trip also brought him to Belize and the Bahamas.
