Smokie Burns Speaks Exclusively to What's Tha Juice Blog...

Smokie Burns is making moves throughout the industry,the blind hip hop artist lets nothing stand in his way!!! Wearing a T Shirt that says I Don't See No 1, which is also the title to his mix tape, the artist is a go ghetta like no other. His music speaks for itself and has fans wanting more. What's Tha Juice went behind the scenes with Smokie Burns and he gave us his Juice!!!!

Hows your day going?
It's going good, the early bird gets the worm, so I'm out here early.

What's Tha Juice with your sight?
 I have a rare condition of glaucoma due to blunt trauma. Growing up in middle school I got into a lot of fights. I no people heard about Haitian Day, I fought a a lot because of  my back ground. I got hit in the eye a lot. I also have real bad cataracts, and a couple of months ago I caught a really bad eye infection and I totally lost my sight, but I'm still out here. Sight can't Slow Me Down!!!! 

 What are your plans to make it to the top?
I've been in the rap game for a while, growing up with a sight problem I'm a little slower than most, but I always get where I need to go. Recently losing my full my sight has pushed a few things back, it hasstopped me from getting back to people on face book, and I feel like I'm depending on people. I'm putting a team together now right now, and if anyone feels they have anything to bring to the table I can be reached at 305-791-6881 or 954-934-4874.

What can fans look forward to?
My Don't See No1 Mixtape, I have a lot of real music on there, and I don't mind collaborating with people. Nothing is gonna stop me.

What keeps you motivated?
You get trials and tribulations in your life, but you have to remember their is an author over your life. God, Jesus Christ. If my sight wasn't bad I would have been in jail, or dead. I'm happy to be alive, I love what I do, and I'm always positive.

Anderson Jean- It was originally three of us, but the other guy already had a business. He said he was going to help us, but never followed through. Charles and I have always wanted to do this, so we just made it happen. We were suppose to be in a different location, but we ended up here,which worked out much better.
