Nicki Minaj...is Pretty In Pink

The American Idol judge brightens up the streets of NYC while stepping out for some media duties, Nicki Minaj showed up at “Good Morning America” in New York City today looking Juicey as ever!!!!! The “Super Juicey Celebrity" wore a flamboyant pink getup as she headed into ABC Studios in Times Square for her big interview with Elizabeth Vargas, during the chat, Nicki confessed that though there’s been plenty of drama surrounding her relationship with Mariah Carey on “American Idol,” she's a huge fan of the diva, and always has been.
Minaj revealed, “She’s been one of my favorite artists of all time, since I can remember. She knows how much I adore her. Some of my best childhood memories with my Mom are from Mariah’s music. I can’t deny that. I can’t take away what she’s done in my life and in pop culture in general and just having one of the most amazing voices in the world.”
As for the judging table tension, “Sometimes when you are a passionate woman, you know sometimes it kind of ruffles other women’s feathers. I’m going to continue to be Nicki Minaj.”

What’s Tha Juice with your book “Courage To Believe”?

I have the bestselling book called “The Courage To Believe”. It was released on my mother’s birthday 12/12/12. It’s about my life story and how I was able to overcome many adversities that people from my community, usually fall short of like graduating college, starting a business, and avoiding the prison system. I will also be having a play and book signing on January 13, 2013 at the African Research Library in Fort Lauderdale.

What is the message for your readers?

The title of the book “Courage To Believe” is my story for teens to let them know to believe in themselves. If you have faith, and believe in God, you can do it. I wanted to teach teens how to overcome adversities by sharing my story, to encouraged them to stay focused and never give up on your dreams. No matter where you come from or where you are in life always believe that you can do better than circumstances around you. Stay posivie and keep a good circle of friends.

Who is the author of Courage To Believe?

I Kevin Dorival came from nothing poor Haitian Kid from the ghetto was able to defeat the odds; I have a criminal background however I always pushed forward. Many of minorities get in trouble with the law,and we fall short on our goals, we drop the ball somewhere along the line, our parents weren’t there,  but no matter what the situation is we have a God that is the God of the Impossible. He makes the Impossible Possible. I want people to know I can relate to their stories, and benefit from reading a true inspirational story.

What’s Tha Juice with the trade mark for clothing line?

I started my clothing Line, One Man Army and One Woman Army Inc. I had to fight the United States Army to trademark that name. They fought me to get the license to trademark that name. Instead of taking me seven months, it took me two years in the court system to get the trademark to that name. Many people were telling me not to fight for that name, but I knew I was doing something positive and by the grace of God I was able to trademark the name.
What are you most proud of?
I mentor, I’m an inspirational speaker, I go to different universities like FAU and I’m speaking with other universities, to speak for them. I’m very blessed because I remember my biggest challenge being a student at FAU and being the suspect in a murder investigation. That investigation turned my world upside down because it was my last semester. Can you imagine being in college and you’re a suspect in a homicide? That’s also a story in my book. My affiliation with friends got me into that.
