Nasir Bin Olu Daren Jones (A.K.A. Nas) is an American rapper and actor with an estimated net worth of $30 million. He was born on September 14th, 1973 in New York, New York. He was born into music with his father being a jazz musician from Mississippi. At the age of just four NAS picked up his first instrument and began to play. His instrument in question was the trumpet. By the age of nine he began to be influenced by the emerging genre of rap and began to write his own songs. His parents would divorce the mid 80’s which prompted Jones to drop out of school in the 8th grade. NAS made his whole life about music bringing his friend Will Graham into the mix as his DJ. Nasir began to go by name of Kid wave before finally settling on the Nasty Nas. He first gained attention in 1991 when he performed in Main Source’s Live at the Barbecue. It was this performance that had Nas being hailed as child prodigy. In 1992 after securing a record deal with Columbia he released his first single, “Halftime”. The single was success and soon the word was out on NAS.
In 1994 Nas released his first album Illmatic. It had seven popular singles on it and was considered something special. Nas would follow this up this album up with the albums It Was Written,” “I Am…,” “Nastradamus,” “Stillmatic,” “From Illmatic to Stillmatic,” “The Lost Tapes Vol. 1,” and “God’s Son.”


                                  

Gucci Mane (real name Radric Davis) is an an American rapper with an estimated net worth of $15 million dollars. Mane began writing poetry as a child, and began rapping at age 14. Mane released his debut album Trap House. Mane followed his debut album with Hard to Kill in 2006, Trap-A-Thon and Back to the Trap House in 2007. Mane servd a six-month jail term for assault in late 2005 and during that time was charged with murder, with the charges later dropped. Mane served a year in prison for violating probation on his 2005 assault conviction. Mane released his second studio album The State vs. Radric Davis in 2010. After Mane’s release from jail he decided to change his his label’s name from So Icey Entertainment to 1017 Brick Squad Records. In recent years Mane has guest starred on remixes of the songs “Obsessed” by Mariah Carey, “Boom Boom Pow” by Black Eyed Peas, and “5 Star Chick” by Yo Gotti.
